Indian Head Massage, also known as Champissage is a technique that has been practiced in India for over a thousand years and is seen as an integral part of family life as well as a profession. 
It works on both mental and physical states which help to restore harmony and balance to the mind and body.
The treatment works the upper body, upper back, neck, head and face where a great deal of the physical and psychological everyday tensions can be stored. It works by dispersing toxins from tense and knotted muscles, improves blood circulation in congested muscle areas and helps to oxygenate the brain.

Treatment takes place fully clothed, although it is useful not to wear tight restrictive clothing or tops with collars, sat upright in a low backed chair. Full treatment including the face can take up to an hour although shorter treatments are available.  
Benefits of the treatment include achieving a state of calm, peace and tranquillity, but can promote high levels of alertness and concentration, it is relaxing yet invigorating, creating a wonderful feeling of well-being!
It can also relieve pain from muscle spasm and tension, concentration and memory may be improved, blood supply to the scalp is encouraged, this can promote hair growth.

Treatment costs £30 for 1 hour treatment. £25 for ½ hr treatment. Both include the initial consultation.
